If you are new to art journaling like me, then it can be hard to know what you need to get started.
Today’s video is all about the basic materials and tools that I have gathered over the last couple of months of art journaling exploration.
Other ideas I may have missed out…
- You can find the first part of this video series right here – I discuss the very very basic tools of creative journaling to get us putting pen to paper.
- In the video, I mention that gesso is primarily used to prime the page before we paint. However, it also can provide an awesome texture underneath the paint which I love. If you haven’t heard of it or used it before, definitely add this art journaling staple to your toolbox!
- Even though I have invested quite a bit of money into this creative endeavour, you actually don’t need to. Don’t let issues with money hold you back from getting creative. Use what you have around you instead. This is definitely an area of interest that I will be looking into further as I really could do with saving some money.
