“I feel safe in the rhythm and flow of ever-changing life.” – Louise Hay
I am super excited (and a little nervous!) for the start of my new creative projects this week! It feels like forever ago (real time – 2 months) since I started thinking about and planning for Self-love for the Soul and Sacred Soul Journaling and now they are here – they actually exist…yippee!
I am fortunate to have some much needed time off work so I am investing the bulk of my time and energy into creating for these projects and of course, getting back into my journaling rhythm. I have been away for a few weeks meaning I haven’t had access to my art supplies (boo!) and let’s face it – I have been a little slack too. Having said that, sometimes we just need to have a break from our usual routine to give us a renewed sense of enthusiasm!
Now that I have the time to find my creative flow, I feel as though I am experiencing the life that I have always imagined for myself; my life as a creative being, as a creative entrepreneur. I am grateful to be able to have a real peek into how my life really could be one day soon and I am finding it incredible motivation for me to keep striving towards my dreams.
A little change to be aware of
I have made an executive decision to phase out my Facebook community The Soul Circle and merge this with the newly created group for Sacred Soul Journaling. Since journaling (in any form) is such a huge topic being addressed here on the blog, I thought it made more sense to make my journaling group central to our soulARTZ community.
If you haven’t yet joined up to the group, and fancy giving the weekly journaling prompts a whirl – you can do so right here. Don’t want email prompts, but would love to be part of our community? No probs! Just flick me a message via the contact page and I can add you directly into the Facebook group.
Let us celebrate new beginnings
To celebrate the start of our new community, I thought I would respond in some way to the main Sacred Soul Journaling prompt for the duration of the course. I have decided to let the Universe decide upon our journaling focus each week by simply pulling a card from my deck of Soul Coaching Oracle Cards by Denise Linn. From there, I will create a series of questions to help us unpack the prompt each day.
This week’s prompt is…
To me flow is this…
- creating until my heart is content
- turning the creative faucet in my brain ON
- loving another and myself
- smiling at those around me
- being honest and generous with myself
- writing writing writing
- having ideas popping into my head from outta nowhere
- being drawn to the good in life
- believing in me
- floating on air
- letting go of all criticism and control
What is flow for you?
